PROMETHEUS 2 aka. ALIEN COVENANT going ahead without Noomi Rapace

By James
February 2, 2016 - 10 years ago

The crew in Prometheus didn’t bother me, not even the infamous ‘rolling ship’ scene. Nor did the re-appropriation of Alien’s set designs – in fact, that was pretty cool. Even the insta-surgery bit was all fine by me. This is the far future, after all, where cool things can be done and any idiot can get a job on a …

PROMETHEUS sequel set 10 years in the future

By Nick Reay
January 8, 2016 - 10 years ago

Ahh, Prometheus, you utter bastard. I was so excited to see the Ridley Scott film that I actually enjoyed it! That is until the lights came up and the sway of cinema magic started dissipating. As I got past the lines of waiting people to go in I wanted to shout ‘Don’t do it! Don’t waste your brain! At the very …

Honestly, I haven’t had my intelligence assaulted like that since Trevor tried explaining where he thought babies came from. At a recent press conference in Sydney the director spoke a bit about the upcoming (recently renamed) sequel Alien: Covenant, a …

It would seem that Ridley Scott is in fact not losing his marbles. After it was reported yesterday that the veteran director used a new title to refer to his long awaited Prometheus sequel, some thought that maybe Scott had maybe got it confused with another project he was working on. After all, it was just the other day that Prometheus 2 was …

Did Ridley Scott change the PROMETHEUS sequel title again?

By Kervyn Cloete
November 16, 2015 - 10 years ago

What’s in a name? A Prometheus sequel by any other name is still just a Prometheus sequel, right? Well, I certainly hope so because either director Ridley Scott’s memory is going (hey, the man is 77!), or he’s going through some kind of identity crisis. Just recently we heard that the upcoming sequel to not-an-Alien-prequel Prometheus was going to be …
