Being the diligent gaming reporter that I am I went straight home yesterday and downloaded the trial version of BBR (Boom Boom Rocket). Yeah trial version because I’m cheap 🙂
Anyway in the trial version (80Mb) you can only play 1 song and only on hard… I presume they make it hard so that you will buy the game to get the easier options? Anyway I played for about 5 minutes. Died repeatedly and then got bored.
It looks pretty but I just didn’t find it entertaining and it was way to difficult to even try and get into. The idea of the trial is to get the person addicted and then they will pay. If they make it so difficult how am I going to get addicted?
I have no intention of buying it now and possibly wasting the money, it’s a pity as I was looking forward to this…
Oh well the nice thing about XBLA is that there is always going to be something new.
