You all know the schpiel by now: A galaxy that’s double-far away in an age that was double-long ago, featuring a cast of colourful characters banding together to take the fight back to a ruthless Galactic Empire that wants to crush all resistance beneath its mighty boot. There’s a battle raging in every corner of the outer rim, intrigue a’plenty in the core of the Empire and a few rumours circulating that say that an ancient order of noble knights might not be as dead as believed.
This year is a big one for Star Wars, not only because of December’s film that is looking to close the book on a long-running saga but also because fans are expecting the impossible: A good Star Wars game from EA. Ignoring what a chattering golden piss-pot of a robot might have to say, chances are solid for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
It looks reliable, the combat is apparently meaty and the game looks stunning on a visual level. If you’re planning to play on PC, here’s what you’ll need to get your digital lightsaber purring like a Rancor that has just been well-fed on disposable slaves:

Not too shabby. There were reports earlier that Fallen Order would require 32GB of RAM, but that was a small gaff on Respawn’s part:
For those of you who don’t meet the recommended requirements, may the Force be with you when you’re stuck having to play this game in potato mode.
