Rumours where spreading yesterday afternoon (US Time) that Universal will be going format neutral in the near future. In other words giving up on HD DVD and going Blu-Ray just not officially.
However not 4 hours later and Craig Kornblau (President of Universal Home Entertainment) sent out an email denying this completely…
So was this rumour just a vicious rumour started by the Blu-Ray camp or did someone leak this to early?
Personally I see Blu-Ray taking this which is good for Sony and PlayStation fans…
