Jack Tretton was talking to the LA times about how Sony are in this console race for the long term and the slow sales so far are nothing to worry about… Big suprise…
Anyway there is an analyst over at IDC who agrees and basically says the PS3 is ahead of it’s time and you will see sales sky rocket in 2008. Personally I think it is ahead of its time but sales will only start increasing rapidly in 2009/2010…
Anyway the following quote from Kyoshi Shin of Japans International Game Developers Association is a classic
“When people talk about the PS3 on chat forums, they say it’s like going to a very expensive restaurant and not getting anything to eat,”
