Peter Moore, Corporate Vice President of the Interactive Entertainment Business, announced a slew of new partners for their Xbox Live! service.
These being A&E Network (I have no idea who they are?), ADV Films (Lots of Anime), National Geographic (For the nature lover in all of use) and TotalVid.com (actions sports).
Along with these new (maybe not AAA) channels Warner Bros have agreed to release to Live! at the same time their straight to video movies hit the rental stores.
So whilst Live! may not have the best channels lined up yet they are well on their way to offering a very compelling alternative to our own DSTV. It’s just a pity they are not available in South Africa as yet.
With the new release of the Xbox 360 Elite however I see them trying to roll out this functionality worldwide and I really hope we get included in that world.
