So there’s not the same level of gore or brutality there was in previous Mortal Kombat games, sure the fatalities have been dumbed down to reach a teen rating. Still there’s no denying that this game looks like a ton of fun, and I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that judging by what I’ve seen this iteration may just offer the most engaging and fun gameplay in the series so far. And it had better, because with as mentioned, it being a less graphically violent release, it’s going to need to make up for that in other area’s.

Ok, I’ll admit the gameplay looks solid and will probably be a lot of fun. But I still stand by my original opinion that the DC characters seem massively out of place. It still seems like an April Fools joke to me..!
