EA South Africa’s Chris Gatherer confirmed the sponsorship of one of the gamers in the AGASA Command and Conquer 3 league to represent South Africa at the World Cyber Games in Seattle USA from 3-7 October 2007. The sponsorship includes flights, accommodation and the WCG royalty fee with a total value of R35 000.

A huge note of thanks goes out to EA for once again supporting our local gaming community and the best of luck to the winner of the local CnC3 league…

Now if only a local branch of an international corporation could sponsor the Gears of War winner as well… Anyone have any ideas?
