Sony has managed to pull a fast one over Microsoft by announcing official DivX support first.
While it has been widely expected for the Xbox 360 Fall update to include DivX support no one had mentioned anything about the PS3 supporting it.
However a date for implementation has not yet been announced so Microsoft may still be the first to market with it. Personally I expect to see firmware version 2.1 very very soon.
