Alex Evans of Media Molecule has now taken the stage. The Littlebigplanet and Tearaway developers have something new to show. It’s called Dreams, and it looks… strange.

Knowing the games they’ve made in the past, you just know that Media Molecule have been working on something that emphasises creativity. Dreams is exactly that. It gives players a completely blank canvas in which to create new characters – puppets in a sense.

What do they do with them? It’s a bit difficult to explain, so I’ll let the trailer do all the talking. All elements seen were made using Dreams itself:

See what I mean about the game looking odd? There’s no denying it has some of that Media Molecule charm though. More details on the game will surface in the coming months.
