I think I’m more disappointed than anything else in the Steadicam Volt. When it works, it’s fun. But those moments are fleeting and the gremlins within the flawed design of this device are a bit too bothersome to ignore.

After weeks of leaks, GoPro has finally officially confirmed the existence of the Hero 6 Black at a San Francisco event yesterday. While it doesn’t change up the design of the Hero 5, the Hero 6 does fiddle with its insides and now provides the hardware to shoot 4K footage at 60 frames per second.

The aesthetic of the chair isn’t for me, and I’d much prefer something similar that was a little smaller, a little more reserved. That said, if you like your chairs tool like racing seats and want something that’s a good balance between premium features and pricing, then the Vertagear SL5000 is definitely worth looking at.
