The Asus Strix Scope TKL hits all the right notes for what you'd expect from a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard, and thanks to its handsome design this good-looking peripheral easily stands out from the rest of the pack.

Dying Light 2 developers tease open-world events and taking sides in new Q&A video

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 18, 2021 - 4 years ago

After a bit of a rough patch, Dying Light 2 seems to be back on track as developer Techland took some time to do a little of the ol' Q and/or A with fans. In a new video, the studio addressed queiries about how the sequel connects to the first game, and just what kinds of relationships you'll be able to forge in a hellish apocalypse dominated by infected humans who took Spur's advertising to heart. Dying Light 2 zombies, a taste for your life.

Discovery is now co-owner of ‘some’ of WB Games and DC Comics thanks to $43 billion deal

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 18, 2021 - 4 years ago

The age of the mega-merger is upon us, as communications giant AT&T has realised just how hard the world of entertainment is and has decided to flog Warner Media off to Discovery for $43 billion. That deal is likely to have some huge ramifications (and customary lay-offs) for a number of companies in the Warner Media portfolio, such as DC Comics and Rooster Teeth, as well as the company's video game division Warner Bros. Interactive.

There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension Switch Review – Game of Clones

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 17, 2021 - 4 years ago

So what is this interactive story that I've been throwing my thumbs at, attempting to guide its fate while being exposed to cracks in the wall that separates its reality from mine? Is it an absurdly smart commentary of video games, a bonkers adventure to watch unfold, a slice of creativity rarely seen in the industry? Is it an experience that has to be felt to be understood, thanks to its talkative AI and whimsical approach? Whatever it is, one thing is for certain: There is no game.

Asus Gladius III Review – Roman around

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 17, 2021 - 4 years ago

In the war for the lightest mouse that packs the most bang for its buck, the Asus Gladius III may be slowed down by some weight but it throws it into other features that makes for a terrific wireless mouse overall. Plenty of dpi to move around with, ergonomically brilliant, and fine-tuned towards gaming, the Gladius III is a heavyweight contender in a lightweight's plastic shell.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition has broken its old series record for concurrent players

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 17, 2021 - 4 years ago

BioWare has had a…rough couple of years, but time heals all wounds. Or to be more specific, the original Mass Effect trilogy given a passionate new coat of paint and bundled into one almighty package is definitely good enough to make up for Anthem. Rest in piece, second-worst Iron Man video game of all time. Mass Effect Legendary Edition launched …

Target will no longer sell Pokemon cards in store thanks to violent scalpers

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 14, 2021 - 4 years ago

In an age of readily available stonks, Doge Coin, and this Jpeg of an anime catgirl that I stole off of DeviantARt and turned into an NFT, one of the most valuable commodities on the planet happens to be…Pokemon cards. The pocket monster cards have become a sought-after collectible item in recent years, and in the US especially, people will do anything to get their hands on them.

Returnal developers aren’t sure yet if save features will be added

By Darryn Bonthuys
May 14, 2021 - 4 years ago

Returnal's most brutal boss is its lack of a save system, as switching the game off results in a complete restart of its cycle. Since its release, many players have asked developer Housemarque to add some sort of a traditional save-system to the game, but the developer says that doing so isn't exactly simple.
