Destiny 2: Forsaken returns the story that Bungie began back to its roots: A power fantasy with a more sombre story, that retools the sequel to once again feel like a hobby that’s well worth investing in, even if some rough edges do still show in this adventure to enact some old school justice on some new school enemies. Exciting, mysterious and always engaging, it’s good to see Destiny 2 back on track.

One of the big new features in Destiny 2: Forsaken, is a bit of nostalgia. Specifically a throwback to Destiny 1’s infamous bounties from the House of Wolves expansion, that tasked players with hunting down some of the most wanted Fallen in the solar system after their rebellion against Queen Mara Sov of the Awoken. In Forsaken, that idea has been expanded on and reworked as players now have plenty of reasons to revisit Lost Sectors.
