Episode 4 has some truly engaging moments, but the issues that have plagued earlier episodes persist. By now, it’s likely that only the diehards – those who forked out for a season pass – will see this through to the end.

Link’s Awakening, the first The Legend of Zelda game for a handheld system, first came out 26 years ago. As far as video games go, it’s a relic of a bygone age – but it’s one (especially its 1998 Gameboy colour DX re-release) that’s highly revered by fans of the series. Two and a half decades after its debut, it’s …

Borderlands 3 Review – The Sirens of the Kablams

By Darryn Bonthuys

Borderlands 3 may be a braindead story of already dead on arrival memes and a cast that is largely forgettable (Save for Tannis, I still love you for being my socially inept spirit animal), but it’s easily the most satisfying power fantasy of the year thanks to its amazingly tuned gunplay and a sophisticated flow of action that picks up the juvenile slack.

eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 review

For the PES franchise, it continues to feel like two steps forward and three back. We’re winding down on not only another year, but a decade. A decade of highs and lows, of stunning new entries in long-running franchises and the birth of several new contenders in video games who have already made an indelible mark on the scene. Man of Medan offers some interesting community play features to make it easier to experience its cheesy horror with friends, but it’s a far less compelling tale than Until Dawn ever was.

Dark Envoy Preview: Dungeons and Bandits (and maybe Dragons)

By Brad Lang
September 10, 2019

I’ve spent a good portion of my adult life playing Dungeons and Dragons. A past-time that even I (as hypocritical as it sounds) once deemed “too nerdy” to grace the top of my dining room table, I eventually realised what a jack ass I have been and welcomed the ever-loving but equally as harsh D20 into my life. I dedicate …
